The lodge offers a lovely escape with stunning views of Lake Ray Roberts and friendly staff eager to assist guests. While my room was clean and comfortable, I found the lack of dining options, like snacks or a restaurant, to be a drawback. Overall, it was great value for the price, though the outdated air conditioning did disrupt my sleep a bit.
Lone Star Lodge offers a serene escape by Lake Ray Roberts, with a picturesque setting and friendly staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable but lack a bit in modern upgrades and some amenities. While the location allows for a peaceful getaway, dining options are limited on-site, requiring a drive to nearby restaurants. However, the value for a quiet retreat is definitely a plus.
I had a delightful stay at the lodge, surrounded by beautiful lake views and plenty of outdoor activities. The rooms were cozy and had some rustic touches. A few minor drawbacks included the toilet height and water pressure; however, the value for the price is hard to beat. Overall, it's a great spot for a quiet getaway or a family gathering.
We chose this lodge for a family gathering, and the location by Lake Ray Roberts is simply stunning. The rooms are cozy but small, which might be a squeeze for larger groups. The customer service was a highlight, especially one staff member who went above and beyond to help us with our check-in arrangements. However, the lack of food options and amenities could be improved, making it more convenient for guests, especially for a resort spa.
My stay at the Lone Star Lodge was enjoyable, with clean and comfortable accommodations and a beautiful view of Lake Ray Roberts. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially in making sure our out-of-town guests had their needs met during a wedding event. However, the lack of restaurant options and some room amenities left a bit to be desired.
